Meiogenix Names Dr. Gaganpreet Sidhu as Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Sidhu, a key member of the Meiogenix team, has been instrumental in leading breakthrough research in DNA repair and recombination, driving the company’s mission to unlock natural genetic diversity in crops.

Dr. Sidhu holds a PhD from Cornell University and completed postdoctoral research at Columbia University, bringing extensive expertise in both somatic and meiotic DNA repair and recombination across a range of plant and animal species, including wheat, maize, tomato, xenopus and others.

Since joining Meiogenix, Dr. Sidhu has played a pivotal role in demonstrating proof of concept for the company’s technologies across rice, corn and tomato. Her promotion to CTO reflects her dedication to Meiogenix’s mission and the significant impact of her work on the company’s scientific progress.
